Throughout the challenges i shall not fear. Even in the darkest times i will hold on to the light that shines above all. When i am weak, then i will still say that i am strong. When troubles surround me, i shall not be shaken. Even in times of failure, i will not be moved for i know i have a very firm foundation. The foundation on which i stand strong even when there’s too much wind. My life is rooted in Christ and He is my firm foundation.
Jesus is the solid rock on which we can lean whenever we are weak. He is the solid ground on which we stand and never be shaken. Before He died on the cross, Jesus said, ‘it is finished’. He conquered it all then and He has the power over anything. He is the only rock on which you can lean and not ever fall.
in Colossians 2:6-8 we are called to be alive in Christ. It says, ‘Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him rooted and built up in Him, established i the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness, See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ.…’
The bible calls us to receive Christ and be rooted and built up in him and this is by far the best foundation you can have for your life. Once you are rooted in Christ, He keeps breathing life in you – a life that is filled with so much strength and courage, with so much love, a life that’s peaceful and a life that bears fruit. When Jesus is your foundation be sure that your life will not be for nothing but from the roots in Him, you will bear fruit.
Be like the wise man in Matthew 7 who built his house on the rock and when the winds blew, the rains came it didn’t fall.
Be rooted in Christ and in any situation, you will pull through because with Jesus as your foundation you cannot fall.
I am a child of God deeply rooted in Him and He is my source of everything. Jesus is my firm foundation. What is your foundation? In whose hands is your life?
